Our client is a fast growing Ad-Tech that expands its R&D hub with a new senior member of the BA team.

​

The product is a technology platform that innovates in the space of digital advertising - it manages digital campaigns by broadcasting ads into the online media portals, via a combination of algorithms, data (contextual and behavioral), reach (volumes) and formats (40 exclusive advertising experiences). 

​

The "Connected Walled Garden" is the company's exclusive positioning that combines the advantages of IAB Programmatic (safety, ad transparency, etc) and big social platforms. 

​

In this role, you'll work alongside the rest of the development team to further develop real-time decision algorithms, features, integrations or other projects that support the company's strategic direction. Activities in the R&D hub involve keeping an open mind and exploring around new solutions, technology and innovation that will help the product grow.

​

This role best fits those business analysts who have strong analytical skills (backed by a solid technical acumen), are serious about their work, take initiative and play well in a team.

​

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

​

• Requirements elicitation - point of contact to channel in any business needs or product improvement ideas. Works with internal & external stakeholders to understand the need, the business context and the overall opportunity;

​

• Translate the requirements into epics, user stories, use cases, diagrams, data and process flows, documenting a business case that will be further completed by the technical teams with the non-functional requirements;

​

• Research integration with other tools or systems and propose solutions, functional and non-functional specifications according to the business needs;

​

• Design mock-ups that showcase the data flows and any relevant impacts;

​

• Once decision is made to bring requirements into production, you will further define use cases for the development team, as well as manuals and user guides - both for internal use and for end customers.  

​

• Proxy-Product Owner role by owning the feature development end-to-end.

​

To perform well in the role you will have to meet some pre-requisites:

​​

• You’ve been part of a software development team and have worked alongside architects and developers to grow features of a product. You have trained the ability to speak the "developer" language and found common technical grounds to grasp the minute detail.

​

• Experience in working on a web application - APIs, communication protocols, web services.

​

• You’re familiar with SQL;

​

• You’ve worked in an Agile team;

​

• You are keen to understand how the various technology pieces of the puzzle work together. You keep an open mind and broad interest to understand technology and how it can help the user; 

​

• Ideally, you will have a keen interest towards Web services / BI / Big Data.
