

Technical Project Manager | Bucharest
Our partner is a well reputed software development center, part of one of the world’s largest banking groups. The hub is well established in the market – it operates across various programs, delivering technology products which support the banking verticals.
From BA to QA and Operations, all roles in the SDLC, as well as various tech stacks are well represented in the company, offering multiple growth opportunities, both laterally and vertically.
As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll coordinate the execution for a number of technical initiatives that keep the company's software development projects in sync and aligned with policies and standards. You'll work across several teams and maintain overall accountability on planning, execution and delivery of the technical initiatives in your portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
​

Work with development teams, architects, project managers, product owners and other key people in the company to coordinate delivery of the technical initiatives in the Book of work.
​

Define and follow a roadmap of projects (such as technical upgrades or constraints that derive from the company's standards and need to be cascaded across all other business apps).​

Keep track of the technical backlog, looking at priorities and dependencies - define plans, milestones, clearly articulate scope and timelines, risks and roadblocks, transforming raw, unstructured information into clear and easy to follow planning.

Manage relationships and communicate across the organization with stakeholders and customers, including facilitation or ad-hoc meetings un unblock issues.

Juggle with several projects at a time, on different priorities and time span

Ability to zoom-in & zoom-out: you can dive deep into technical issues as easily as you can understand and convey how a high-level plan meets the needs of a given project's needs

Technical problem solving skills - you're comfortable navigating a complex technical environment

Background as a developer - ​strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, etc.
​

Ability to read and understand different levels of architecture documents
​

Experience working with Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, MS Project
