Our partner is a well reputed software development center, part of one of the world’s largest banking groups. The hub is well established in the market – it operates across various programs, delivering technology products which support the banking verticals.
From BA to QA and Operations, all roles in the SDLC, as well as various tech stacks are well represented in the company, offering multiple growth opportunities, both laterally and vertically.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work for one of the company's business critical applications, with a strong focus on availability, stability and security. The application is heavily integrated: it consumes data from multiple sources and publishes lots of data across the organization, being the golden source for some of the key processes of the bank.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Work with the development and the release management teams to ensure continuous software delivery following internal best practices and governance procedures
​

Sustain the release process for every new version of the app
​

Ensure the regular upgrades for different dependencies
​
-
Automate and improve the development, deployment and release processes
​

Integrate CI/CD and monitoring tools
​
-
Scan and regularly assess the code quality (Sonar, Veracode) and perform remediation actions, mainly for the vulnerabilities reported
​

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
​

Background as a developer (Java, Spring, Maven)
​
-
You have already shifted towards a stand alone DevOps role or you're willing to move to such a role after using modern DevOps practices and tools in your developer role
​

Good knowledge of CI tools such as: GIT, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, SonarCube
​
-
Good knowledge of Shell scripting
​
-
Good knowledge of container management: OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes
​

Good knowledge of DBMS/SQL (Oracle), Liquibase
​
-
Monitoring / Reporting tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch
​

Experience in building / supporting Continuous Delivery Pipelines
​
