As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll be part of a stand alone QA Automation value stream that focuses on automating tests for various projects in the team (features, specific increments, etc). You'll be exposed to a wider variety of automations, dealing with multiple scenarios that will challenge you into an accelerated growth.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

​

• Develop and execute automated tests for newly developed features in the team's project portfolio.

​

• You'll work with Selenium, Java, Maven, Jenkins, TestNG.

​

• You'll use an automation framework mainly for regression testing, looking at multiple integrations with external systems. 

​

• Perform test automation execution, identifying root causes for failures.

​

• Use the bug tracking tools to report and track them throughout the defect lifecycle.

​

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

​

• At least 2 years in Automation Testing

​

• Knowledge of Java

​

• Ideally you have already used Selenium, but it is also acceptable if you've worked with Katalon, Robot or other frameworks and you're willing to turn to Selenium.​

​

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, Junit, NUnit, PyTest

​

• The curiosity to explore beyond the limits of your role – business understanding, trying out new technologies or doing things differently are some of the traits we look to identify in the winning candidates

​

Any experience designing automated test scrips for apps built on Apache Hadoop would be a nice plus (although not mandatory) - you'll have an opportunity to expand to these in the near future.

​

Other “nice to have’s” are: Performance Testing & Tools, BDD (Cucumber, Behave), Web Services / API testing, TestOps tools (Docker, K8s, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc).
